Worthy of Praise!

A few years ago I was in a Bible study over the summer. During that time, I was really convicted to praise more. I feel that in my Christian walk, and maybe you can relate, that I spend too much time asking and not enough time praising, thanking, worshipping. If I counted the amount of things I ask for to the amount of things I thank Him for, I believe it would be pretty lopsided. That being said. . .

  • Thank you Lord for getting Melissa through her surgery successfully! You are the author of life!

  • You are the Healer! Thank you for sending Loren home today!

  • You hold us in the Palm of Your Hand. . .why should we fear!

Got some praising to do? Feel free to post some!

  1. I try to use the ACTS (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving,Supplication)
and PRAY (Praise, Repent Ask, Yield)models daily, but sometimes have to remind myself also, especially when the ASK part dominates, and the YIELD part is a distant thought. But God is gracious always; we never can meet his standards (Praise Him for Christ!), yet He continues to bless us. Great news about Melissa and Loren!

  2. Yes, I am SOOOO thankful that he is gracious! Where would we be without Jesus? Well, besides "there"!

  3. I praise God for the awesome outpouring of affection for Coleton last Friday night. I praise Him for His unfailing care. I praise Him for a ministry.

  4. Amen Paula! I am so thankful for your family, and the "living" faith that you display to me each day! Praise God for His love never fails! And, His mercies are NEW every morning!
